You see us as you want to see us- in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. What we’ve found is that each of us is a surfer, an artist, a musician, a mentor, a protector of our oceans and a supporter of our community

An Artist: Through KrisT’s Art, we express the beauty of our surroundings and the emotions that surfing evokes within us.

A Musician: TiMo’s music tells the story of the sea, the rythm of the waves and the harmony of the surfing community. It bridges gaps and unites us in shared experiences.

A Mentor: Sharing our knowledge and passion with the next generation of surfers, creators and musicians. We help them navigate their own paths.

A Protector: Committed to environmental causes, we stand with organizations like Surfrider to safeguard our oceans and beaches.

A Supporter: By sponsoring events and local teams, we aim to foster a sense of community and celebrate the achievements of others.

TIOIT's journey began with the intertwining passions of TiMo and KrisT, two individuals whose creative endeavors would eventually converge to form a unique and inspiring venture. In 2016, TiMo's musical journey took a significant turn when his logo adopted the iconic swirl, symbolizing a harmonious blend of creativity and fluidity. Following suit, KrisT incorporated the same swirl into her signature paintings in 2017, marking the genesis of a shared artistic vision.

May of that year witnessed the birth of Paint Away Breast Cancer, a concept initially conceived as a collaboration and pop-up event involving ONeil, House of Blues, and Komen. However, the event swiftly evolved into a sponsored affair at the Anaheim Gardenwalk, featuring TiMo's music and an electrifying afterparty at the House of Blues. KrisT orchestrated a 200-person painting extravaganza, setting the stage for the debut of clothing adorned with the iconic swirl – a pivotal moment in TIOIT's evolution.

By 2023, the symbiotic relationship between TiMo and KrisT culminated in the creation of TIMObyKRIST, a company seamlessly blending art, music, and surf culture. The name TIOIT emerged as a homage to their individual identities, with 'TI' representing TiMo and 'IT' symbolizing KrisT. The swirl, a central motif in their work, embodies the ebb and flow of life's rhythms, advocating for the importance of no “open loops” in relationships and finding tranquility amidst chaos.

Their journey is also a testament to resilience, with KrisT overcoming a decade-long battle with Mold Poisoning, finding solace and strength in art, music, and the surf lifestyle. Their collaboration not only birthed a successful business but also secured regular gigs at the House of Blues, a platform where their creative energies continue to reverberate, captivating audiences with their unique blend of artistry and passion.

    KrisT, a self-taught artist, gained prominence in Hawaii's art scene in 2012, exhibited in prestigious galleries like Wyland, and later launched KrisTs Art Paint Parties. With a deep connection to surf culture from her time in Hawaii and a passion for design, KrisT brings a unique blend of artistic creativity, marketing acumen, and a profound love for the ocean to TIOIT’s brand and vision.

    TiMo holds a BA in Asian Studies from the University of Hawaii, fostering connections with surf industry executives while immersing himself in surfing and music. As a musician, he performed at notable venues and on the radio, showcasing his understanding of surf culture. TiMo's extensive background in music, his deep connection to the surf world, and his experience with event organization, make him a vital creative force and visionary leader at TIOIT.
