1. Do I need to dewax my whole board?
No, only dewax the area where you are placing the TraXion pad.

2. Where exactly do I apply this?
You want to place the pad where your front foot lands and where your ribcage rests when paddling. To find the right spot, lay beside your board, paddle, pop up, and position the pad accordingly—your front foot should be centered on the pad.

3. I found myself slipping a little bit. What should I do?
It’s possible that the pad was not placed in the optimal position. Additionally, a brand-new wetsuit may cause slight slippage at first as residue from a new wetsuit can sometimes be oily. the manufacturing process can cause this, usually only for the first few times you use the wetsuit. This oily Substance from the new Wetsuit can sometimes transfer to the Traxion Pad.

4. What if I placed the TraXion pad in the wrong spot?
Let the pad dry completely, then remove and reposition it as needed.

5. Can I use this TraXion pad on another board?
Yes! The pad is removable and reusable up to a point. how many times may vary depending on the user. IF Adhesion begins to wane, purchase of a new TraXion pad is recommended.

6. Do I need wax on the TraXion?
The TraXion pad is designed to be used without wax, but you can apply wax if desired.

7. Will there be residue on my board when I remove it?
If any residue is left, it will be minimal. Simply wash the area with soap and water. More difficult residue may be removed with Acetone.
